Arve J. Andresen

With the pedal to the metal

Arve joined Northzone in 2001 to establish the Copenhagen office, and a Northzone presence in Denmark. He came to Northzone from a position as Managing Director of Laerdal Medical, a fast growing global leader in emergency medical equipment. Before Laerdal Medical, Arve headed significant business development projects at Nestlé SA in Poland and Scandinavia, following five years tenure as management consultant at McKinsey & Co. He holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from Columbia University (1988).

As a native of Norway, and a former junior national team skier, Arve likes the sea and the snow. Outside business hours you are likely to find him pursuing activities related to these elements, preferably together with his wife and 2 daughters. However, his long standing passion with vintage Porsche sportscars, makes it equally likely that you'll find him in the garage, with an oily socket wrench in hand, and a big smile on his face.

Arve serves as Director of Enigma and GoHello, and is also a Director of Luxo ASA listed in Oslo.
