Bjørn Stray

Bjørn joined Northzone in 1996, this making him the third man on board, and has been instrumental in fund raising and building Northzone Ventures to a leading Nordic venture capital company ever since.

Described by many as "the ultimate analyst" Bjørn earned his laurels with ABG Sundal Collier & Co - one of the leading independent Nordic Investment Banks - and as a consultant with McKinsey & Co as well as Accenture.

Bjørn picked up tennis as a favourite sport a few years ago, and is also an eager cyclist and skier. He believes himself to be in better physical shape now than 20 years ago.

Bjørn holds a M.Sc. in Business Adm./M.Sc. Economics from NHH in Bergen, Norway (1989).

Bjørn serves as Chairman of the Board of Imbera, and as Director in Replisaurus, Mas Movil and Supponor. He has also served as Chairman in Stepstone, Intility and Nextgentel, and as Director in MCP.
