Quitters never get to be partners, so... our partners never really quit
As you might conclude after browsing this website, Northzone was never intended as a springboard for a "future carreer somewhere else". Rather we all see it as "the place to be". And yet, we have to live with the fact that everyone can't be a day-to-day partner forever.
Therefore, we've created a special status for partners wanting to pursue outside ventures as well as remaining with one foot in the partnership: that of Venture Partner
A Venture Partner does not participate in the day-to-day business of running Northzone, but is still an essential part of our network, contributing to the NZ mission in any way possible, as Limited Partner, Co-investor, door-opener, and more. One of our Venture Partners actually shares office space with our Oslo team.
